I haven't been updating this page with artwork very much, however, this isn't because I haven't been drawing, in fact I've been drawing more lately than I ever have in my life. Over the last two years my interest in illustrating went from a hobby I do when I'm bored too a passion that I think about even when I'm busy with other things, and because of this I've been making a great effort to improve and develop my skills, however, this caused most of the art work that I produced over the last two years to not really be the kind of stuff I'd consider finished pieces to post online but rather sketches, specific objects and elements, and just the

thanks for the fave! :)
Thanks for the watch!
Thanks for the :+devwatch:!
No problem at all, I don't usually message people back who are just thanking me for watching them or favouring an image they did, but I have to say your style and quality of drawing and inking is exactly what I strive for. Also, I have to ask, a lot of your art I seen that says something like "pen/brush/ink and coloured in photoshop", do you ever do any of your colouring traditionally or is it all done digitally? If your colouring is all done in photoshop than I honestly never seen anybody colour digitally but have the results look so authentically traditional. Keep up great work!
Thanks! I color all my stuff digitally, using Photoshop. Usually, I color my drawings using a few flat colors (little to none detail work in most cases), and then simply add a new layer in photoshop (set to 'multiply'), with some texture created by scanning an old piece of paper, in order to give the artwork a more natural look. If you are a Photoshop user, it's a fairly simple process, and if not, it's easy to learn. :)

Here's a sample of the type of texture I use: www.deviantart.com/art/Old-Pap… I also create other textures by making ink wash stains on paper (like this ikedabarry.com/InkTex/wp-conte… ), and then scanning then in-- whatever helps achieving a more organic look to the colors.
Hi, DAD. Thanks so much for your recent visit and the fave. It is greatly appreciated! :D
